Let Me Introduce…

After being sworn to secrecy for the past two weeks, we are finally able to tell you that our youngest daughter, Ariel and her husband Dayton, are expecting their first baby!

The entire family is ecstatic with happiness and joy for the new family as well as for the rest of us who just gained titles. Like Grampa and Grammy!

Hard to imagine we are that old! Our bodies tell us we are old with all of the new aches and pains we discover each day, but in my mind, I still feel relatively young. Perhaps being grandparents will change that.

This will be a brief introduction since Ariel is only about 3 months along. And knowing Ariel, and Dayton, things will be kept tightly wrapped until the rest of us find out at delivery time.

I can however offer you a brief description of a three-month old fetus which is certainly a miracle.

From Google: Embryo and Fetal Development In the First Trimester. During the first trimester, babies grow quickly – passing through two official stages of development. … The embryo’s eyes, ears, nose, spine, digestive tract and nervous system are beginning to form. The tube for the future heart starts beating.

Please keep Ariel and her little one in your prayers
